Within in my role as a Marketing & Advertising Manager at the Hakfoort Group – A Qld based family owned hotel chain, I was required to keep many plates spinning while I looked after the promotional, design, advertising & marketing demands of multiple Hotels and bottleshop outlets across Queensland. The main objective of my role was to constantly grow & evolve each venue in the world of client relations, brand recognition, advertising, social media & online presence.

I enjoyed this fast paced environment of conceptualizing & managing multiple effective online & print media campaigns, designing new advertisements for POS, static & limited edition promotions, menu designs, social media presence & growth. This varied role was a constant challenge of which I loved & throughout my time as the Marketing & Advertising Manger each Hotel had constant growth with increased sales & return.

Senior Graphic Designer | 2010-2013

As the Senior Graphic Designer at Cityscape Design & Print I was responsible for strategically crafting print & digital marketing collateral such as; corporate communication materials, logo & brand identity, promotional advertising, signage, presentations, invitations, brochures & eDMs, point of sale materials, packaging, infographics, diagrams, charts, templates & more.

This fast paced role also allowed me to gain considerable knowledge of the digital printing world, including the print process, machine collaboration, colour correction, pre-press set up, finishing, time management, client liaison and customer service. No two days were ever the same as Cityscape. I really enjoyed the design process from concept to final delivery.
